Recommendations to Parents

Parent-Teacher Meetings (P.T.M.)

Education extends beyond academics; it includes character formation. To ensure holistic development, the school has prioritized value education and character-building, as instructed by the council.

  • Remarks noted in the "Student's Log Book" will now also be reflected in the Progress Report.

  • Parents’ cooperation is crucial for addressing behavioral concerns through open communication during the designated Parent-Teacher Meetings.

General Guidelines for Parents

  1. Cooperation with School

    • Ensure your child maintains punctuality, discipline, and actively participates in school activities.

    • Provide personal guidance instead of relying on private tuition. Address your child’s doubts when possible.

  2. Monitoring Academic Progress

    • Regularly check the school diary for teacher remarks and assignments, and sign them as required.

    • Stay in constant contact with the school to track your child’s academic and personal progress.

    • Attend all Parent-Teacher Meetings to discuss your child’s development with teachers.

  3. Communication with Teachers

    • Refrain from approaching teachers in classrooms or staff rooms without prior permission from the Principal.

    • For concerns or complaints, contact the Principal rather than the class teacher.

  4. Behavior and Discipline

    • Avoid criticizing teachers in front of your child to maintain respect and discipline.

    • Encourage self-reliance in children by training them in tasks such as cleaning their rooms, managing their belongings, and completing homework independently.

    • Habitual idleness, disobedience, or misconduct may lead to disciplinary actions such as suspension or removal.

  5. Safety and Attendance

    • Make arrangements for your child to be picked up immediately after school hours as the school is not responsible for student safety beyond these hours.

    • Inform the school within a week if your child is absent due to illness, supported by a medical certificate, to avoid removal from the school roll.

  6. Other Guidelines

    • Ensure your child wears the correct uniform, brings required materials, and has parent-signed notes or records when necessary.

    • Parents/guardians who sign the admission form are primarily responsible for all school-related communication.

    • Introduce any non-parent guardian to the Principal, as unauthorized individuals will not be recognized.

  7. Transport

    • Avoid providing motorbikes to students for school transportation.

    • For those using two-wheelers, ensure they hold a valid learner’s license and wear a helmet for safety.

  8. Hostel Guidelines

    • Parents of hostel students should ensure that their child abides by the hostel rules and maintains discipline. Regular visits on specified days are encouraged to stay updated on their well-being. Any special concerns or emergencies should be immediately communicated to the Hostel Warden.
