Examinations

At Dynasty, we follow a robust and holistic assessment system to evaluate students' performance and ensure their all-around development. Annual promotions are determined based on continuous assessment throughout the year, emphasizing steady progress rather than relying solely on final examination marks.

  1. Assessment and Promotion

    • Promotions are based on the aggregate marks obtained from monthly tests, half-yearly exams, and annual examinations.

    • The annual examination alone does not determine promotion; consistent performance throughout the year is essential.

    • To qualify for promotion, a student must secure a minimum of 40% in each subject and achieve an overall aggregate of 50%.

  2. Consistent Performance

    • Students are expected to demonstrate steady and consistent academic progress.

    • Those who fail to meet the required academic standards may not be promoted.

  3. Examination Guidelines

    • There will be no re-examination or rescheduling of tests or exams under any circumstances.

    • During examinations, students are prohibited from bringing books, notes, or any unauthorized materials into the examination hall.

    • Any student caught giving, obtaining, or attempting to give or obtain unfair assistance during exams will be immediately disqualified.

  4. Leave During Examinations

    • Only medical leave is permitted during examination periods. A medical certificate must be submitted when the leave is taken, and a fitness certificate must be presented upon returning to class.

    • Marks for exams missed due to medical leave will not be included in the aggregate, which may impact promotion eligibility.

  5. Evaluation and Discretion

    • All concerns regarding the evaluation of answer sheets and decisions on promotion rest solely at the discretion of the Principal.

    • The school maintains high standards of fairness and transparency in evaluation, and the Principal's decision will be final.

  6. Disqualification

    • A student who fails consecutively for two years in the same class will not be permitted to continue studies at this school.

  7. Exam Preparation and Integrity

    • Students are encouraged to prepare diligently and maintain integrity during examinations. Developing a strong work ethic and accountability is central to personal growth and academic success.

    • Examination halls are spaces of discipline and focus; all students must uphold the decorum and rules at all times.

  8. Support and Guidance

    • Teachers and mentors are available to guide students throughout the year, ensuring they understand the syllabus and perform to the best of their abilities.

    • Parents are advised to monitor their child’s progress regularly and address any areas of concern with the teachers proactively.
